Annual Fee for SmartPay Reporting Service Eliminated
Until now, customers choosing the SmartPay reporting service option to report payroll were required to pay a $130 annual fee to SmartPay. We have negotiated the elimination of this fee so customers who run their own payroll, use a payroll partner not partnered with The Hartford or use a payroll company that owns an insurance agency can easily submit payroll to us at no additional cost to them.
This means more customers can take advantage of cash flow benefits like:
•
No monthly billing or service fees
•
Lower likelihood of premium audit surprises
